Humble Beginnings
Hello Fellow Revolutionary,
I hope this letter finds you in great spirits. I wanted to share a bit about the journey that led to the creation of Revolutionary Education (RevEd) and invite you to join us in this remarkable endeavor.
RevEd didn’t start with a grand epiphany or a sudden vision of brilliance. Instead, it began as a seed planted during my childhood. My parents nurtured my curiosity, and over the years, the intellect for history that they instilled in me grew into a profound love for teaching. This love has now blossomed into RevEd—a project dedicated to inspiring the next generation through the stories and Founding Principles of the American Revolution.
I vividly recall one memorable day at my kids’ school. I had been invited to speak about the Revolutionary War, donning my revolutionary costume for the occasion. As I spoke, I saw the spark of curiosity in the children’s eyes and felt their hunger for knowledge. It was a transformative moment for me. I left the school with a profound realization: why not extend this experience to other schools and inspire young leaders everywhere to cherish our country’s values of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness?
Since that day, RevEd has inspired more than 6,000 students, each one ignited by the same passion that drives us. But this is just the beginning. We are on a journey to expand our reach and deepen our impact, and I would love for you to be a part of this dream.
My vision for RevEd extends beyond the present moment. I want my children, and their children, to inherit this legacy of liberty and education. I want them—and yours—to build on this foundation of freedom, standing firm on the principles that have shaped our nation.
Join us in this mission. Let’s work together to instill a love for our country’s values and ensure that the story of our Founding Principles continues to inspire future generations. Together, we can make a difference and build a legacy that will endure for years to come.
With revolutionary spirit,
John Schmonsees
